Borbonese. Since 1910, the future of elegance.

On January 8th, we outlined the guidelines for Borbonese's new e-commerce management, which launched in record time on December 23rd. (Read the first article here).

Just over four months after go-live, the initial figures show structural growth for the channel, proving it is much more than a simple technological migration. Since the start of the new management, net e-commerce revenue has recorded an increase nearing 20% compared to 2025.

The drivers of success: Buying strategies, optimized web marketing activities, seamless customer experience, and marketplace continuity.

The pillars of growth: Style, operations, and optimization

This positive trend is the result of a perfect blend between brand equity and operational efficiency:

  • Collections & Effective Buying: The extremely high demand for the models in stock—thanks to an exceptional collection—was supported by a highly targeted and effective buying strategy by the Borbonese team.

  • Content & UX: Continuous, timely online content updates are performing above expectations, showcasing the brand's premium materials to their fullest.

  • Customer Experience: Optimizing the returns process has streamlined the shopping journey, boosting trust and customer loyalty.

The engine of web marketing: ROAS at 700%

Web marketing and advertising activities managed by Drop are proving to be the real driving force behind this growth, accounting for approximately 50% of the channel's total revenue. Campaigns are delivering outstanding performance, maintaining an average ROAS (Return on Ad Spend) of around 700%.

Omnichannel and Marketplace expansion

The growth strategy goes beyond the direct e-commerce site. Business is getting a powerful boost from the activation of new markets and sales on marketplaces like Zalando, along with the opening of new countries.

The brand's voice

"This result is the fruit of a synergistic team effort. The partner’s flexibility in adapting to our needs and specificities is the key to this success, combined with solid technical expertise and strategic support capable of empowering and materializing our business development vision." — Gianpaolo Pavan, Head of Digital at Borbonese

Less than five months into this journey, the numbers confirm that we are on the right track. We would like to thank the Borbonese team for their trust and daily, synergistic collaboration.
