Welcome Quix: The Horsa Tech Hub Grows Stronger

In December 2025, Horsa finalized the acquisition of a 51% stake in Quix, an Italian center of excellence in Digital Transformation, Artificial Intelligence, Data Platforms, and Salesforce.

A Strategic Synergy for Drop

This operation holds deep strategic value for Drop. As part of the same Group, our two entities now integrate strategic consulting, tech development, systems integration, and operational management (Logistics, MoR, Marketing, etc.) into a single, coordinated offering. At Drop, we like to say we are "cousins" with many shared traits. A little insight: Quix also celebrated its 25th anniversary this year!

A Case of Excellence in the Automotive Sector

The power of this union is already a reality in a global-scale project we are managing for a world-renowned Automotive icon. In this collaboration, Quix handled the development of the digital platforms, while Drop stepped in as the Merchant of Record (MoR) to manage the entire online service sales infrastructure. Supporting a brand that has made extreme performance its mission requires digital solutions that are equally fast, secure, and "frictionless."

Two Channels, One Operational Efficiency

Drop’s MoR service supports two distinct digital ecosystems developed by the Quix team:

  • B2C Connected Services: A public-facing portal for the sale of digital services.

  • Service Information: A B2B platform for partners to purchase maintenance-related products, in full compliance with international regulations.

Technical Integration: Behind the Scenes

To ensure a seamless process, the tech teams at Drop and Quix developed an advanced data exchange system and an architecture based on Webhooks. This allows for real-time payment monitoring and automated management of billing cycles and refunds via the Adyen gateway, ensuring security and compliance on a global scale.

Beyond Technology: A Single Partner for Growth

This project demonstrates how being part of the Horsa Group allows us to offer major brands a unique competitive advantage: the ability to delegate technical, administrative, and legal complexity to a single, solid partner: Horsa.
